 Hello to all, and welcome to the first update on the VI RAF Open Day at the Waltham Windmill on Saturday 12^th June 2005……

Request’s have gone out to all Civil Display pilots and already we will have a return of Gary Ferriman, Steve Carver and Justyn Gorman to the site for 2005 and I hope to announce another 3 Civil Display items for you by this Christmas ( to hopefully include two from Duxford).

 The RAF Requests have been posted asking for the Following aircraft to be tasked to the day….

·       Avro Lancaster Full Display

·       Supermarine Spitfire & Hawker Hurricane Flypast

·       DC-3 Dakota Flypast

·       C130 Hercules Full Display

·       Red Arrows Flypast (To start and End the day

These requests will be confirmed by February of 2005, so fingers crossed.

 The RAF will be asked to attend on the ground in a more active manor for the coming show, and more aviation displays will be present too

The next important news I hope to bring you will be our Main Day Sponsors conformation…….so if you would like to put in a bid to support the day from your own businesses marketing, then please let me know by the end of October and I would be glad to send you the details of the day and the great opportunity to support the VI RAF Open Day on its quest to raise a donation for the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at RAF Coningsby…. £4000 raised so far
